My oven stopped working the other day and, to be honest, I was a little bit devastated. I love cooking and, more importantly, I love baking, so not being able to use my oven was a huge blow.
I tried to figure out what was wrong with it but, after looking online and reading a few articles, I still couldn’t work it out. I didn’t want to call in a professional because that would have been too expensive, so I decided to just live without my oven for a while.
But then, about a week later, I had a lightbulb moment and figured out what was wrong. It was something so simple that I kick myself for not realizing it sooner.
Anyway, if your oven has stopped working, don’t worry – it might just be a simple fix. Here are a few things you can try:
-Check the fuse box. There might have been a power outage and the fuse for your oven might have blown.
-Make sure the oven is turned on. This might sound like a silly thing to check but I’ve done it before!
-Clean the oven. Sometimes dirt and grease can build up and stop the oven from working properly.
-Check the temperature. If the oven is too hot or too cold, it might not work properly.
-Call in a professional. If you’ve tried all of these things and your oven still isn’t working, it might be time to call in a professional.
